HTC Desire VC Launched Officially In India

On August 5, 2012 HTC has launched a new dual SIM smart-phone in India named HTC Desire VC at Rs. 21,999 in its HTC Desire range. The new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich based smart-phone follows both GSM and CDMA in 2G network and CDMA in 3G network. The 4.0 inch long capacitive touch-screen with 16M colors and 480×800 pixels resolution gives users multi-touch capability with HTC Sense UIv4.0. Available in two different colors black and white, the handset is embedded with 1GHz cortex A5 processor with Qualcomm MSM7227A snapdragon chip-set.
Though the internal memory of the handset is 4GB with 512 MB RAM but it can support memory upto 32 GB with microSD card slot. To get best image shots it has a 5MP camera with auto-focus, geo-tagging, LED flash and resolution 2592×1944 pixels, no secondary camera is available. For internet connectivity it has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot and DLNA. It has Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP and microUSB v2.0 USB slot. Other than these features it has HTML and Adobe Flash Lite browser, FM Radio, A-GPS support, SNS integration, MP3 and MP4 player, Google search, Google maps, Gtalk, Gmail, Youtube, Document viewer, predictive text input, android application support and many more. For best battery back-up it has standard Li-ion 1650 mAh battery.

Samsung Ready With Its Next Launch – Samsung Galaxy SIII Verizon

After HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE the next Verizon smart-phone coming up in market is Samsung Galaxy SIII Verizon. The smart-phone is expected to be launched in USA in July (the date not yet confirmed). It is an Android 4.0 based CDMA handset with 2G, 3G and 4G network, so again all internet users need not switch their internet plans.
The handset has 4.8 inch long display with AMOLED capacitive touch-screen, 16M colors and resolution 720×1280 pixels. With Dual core 1.5 GHz processor the smart-phone has multi-tasking ability. The price of the handset varies according to the internal memory of the handset i.e. 16GB is for $599 and 32GB is for $649. It also has microSD card support of upto 64 GB and 2GB RAM. The smart-phone has 8MP back camera and 1.9 MP secondary camera with autofocus, LED flash, resolution 3264×2448 pixels, HD image and video recording, geo-tagging, face and smile detection, touch focus and image stabilization.
Other than the above listed features it has SNS integration, image and video editor, Smart Stay eye tracking, Dropbox with 50 GB storage, MP3/MP4 player, document editor, Voice commands etc. With two new latest CDMA launch let’s see how the chase is going to be between the two smart-phone. HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE Launch Countdown Begins

This week HTC is going to launch its new smart-phone HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE having CDMA 2G, 3G and 4G network. The launch expected on 21st June is based on Android Ice-Cream Sandwich and is priced $300. With 2G, 3G and 4G network you don’t need to switch your internet plan, just stick to the one you are using currently with your new hand-set.
The hand-set has a beautiful 4 inch long display with capacitive touch-screen, 16 M colors and resolution 540×960 pixels. It has dual core 1.2GHz Krait processor and 8 MP camera with high resolution of 3264×2448 pixels, autofocus, LED flash and HD video and image recording with geo-tagging, face and smile detection. With an internal memory of 8GB and 1 GB RAM with micro SD card support upto 32 GB for downloading applications, songs, videos and wallpapers of your choice. Other than these features it has standard Li-ion battery 1700mAh, Bluetooth, MP3 & MP4 player, SNS integration, Google Maps, Youtube, Gmail, Document Viewer/Editor, predictive text inputs etc.
With all these above mentioned features the price range offered by HTC is acceptable for the market. Although Samsung is launching a CDMA handset Samsung Galaxy SIII Verizon too, to give tough competition to the new creation of HTC.
