Viber Gets New Updates

Viber, one of the best VoIP calling application has been updated to version 2.2 with some new and improved features. The update has been launched on both Android and IOS with some most awaited features like group messaging, a significantly improved user interface and voice quality. Right now Viber has more than 90 million registered users and messages sent over Viber per month vary from 1 billion to 2 billion. To improve its messaging features now Viber has introduced interesting messaging updates in the application. While doing group messaging the application will show the thumbnail of the users and the recent sender will have the largest thumbnail amongst all.

 

You can also change the background o the application, rather than just white the users can choose any fun background along with doing messaging in landscape. Also rather than getting bombarded with alerts the app has added a new smart notification feature and a system to improve the speed of group messaging has been installed too. Does anybody know operating system rather than Android, IOS, Blackberry or Windows??? Yes or No. This is a new OS and so neither must have heard about it. Tizen OS has taken birth out of Samsung Linux Platform OS. The OS has launched its version 1.0 on 30 April 2012 and is code named Larkspur. It is an open source mobile OS and is based on HTML 5. The first release of device with this operating system is planned in Quarter 2 of 2012.

Intel has announced a Tizen developer contest where advices and feedbacks on writing the applications of Tizen will be shared. But a till that the story is, this OS is it is following the path of RIM i.e. like Blackberry playbook is running Android application, the same is with the devices of Tizen, it is also running android applications. Lets see what effect is it going to bring to the market as the launch of the first device with this new OS is awaited.
