HTC Desire VC Launched Officially In India

On August 5, 2012 HTC has launched a new dual SIM smart-phone in India named HTC Desire VC at Rs. 21,999 in its HTC Desire range. The new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich based smart-phone follows both GSM and CDMA in 2G network and CDMA in 3G network. The 4.0 inch long capacitive touch-screen with 16M colors and 480×800 pixels resolution gives users multi-touch capability with HTC Sense UIv4.0. Available in two different colors black and white, the handset is embedded with 1GHz cortex A5 processor with Qualcomm MSM7227A snapdragon chip-set.

 

Though the internal memory of the handset is 4GB with 512 MB RAM but it can support memory upto 32 GB with microSD card slot. To get best image shots it has a 5MP camera with auto-focus, geo-tagging, LED flash and resolution 2592×1944 pixels, no secondary camera is available. For internet connectivity it has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot and DLNA. It has Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP and microUSB v2.0 USB slot. Other than these features it has HTML and Adobe Flash Lite browser, FM Radio, A-GPS support, SNS integration, MP3 and MP4 player, Google search, Google maps, Gtalk, Gmail, Youtube, Document viewer, predictive text input, android application support and many more. Yesterday on 13 June, 2012 at an event in Delhi, India Nokia launched its best creation Nokia 808 Pureview. The smart-phone runs on Symbian Belle operating system and has world’s best camera. It can shoot images upto 41 MP camera with resolution of 7152×5368 pixels, autofocus, xenon flash, 4x zoom, face detection, LED light and secondary VGA camera.

The smart-phone has 1.3 GHz ARM 11 processor with 4 inch long Amoled capacitive touch-screen with 16M colors and resolution 360×640 pixels. The internal memory of the device is 16 GB with 1GB ROM, 512 MB RAM and microSD card slot of upto 32 GB. Like other Nokia handsets the battery backup of this phone is also quite good with 1400 mAh battery and talk time of 6 hours 50 minutes with 3G and 11 hours with 2G. SAMSUNG GALAXY SIII LAUNCHED IN INDIA…..

 

Samsung on 31^st May 2012 launched Samsung Galaxy SIII the most innovative creation of this year inIndia @ Rs. 43,180 and Nargis Fahri, the bollywood actress was there to attend the launch. According to a research Samsung covers 46% market of smart-phones inIndia, but with this handset it aims to hit 60%. The Korean company also said is planning to manufacture 12 million units of this handset this year. Although the company in the first four months of this year has launched 10 other handsets including two dual SIM handsets, but the launch of this handset is a strategy Samsung is trying to secure its position inIndia.
