Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Launched At Google I/O Meet

Finally, after a lot of wait the new version of Android, 4.1 Jelly Bean has launched in Google I/O conference on 28 June 2012. The launch of some features with new version is done. With a more better and beautiful look and feel as compared to Android 4.0 the version now also has NFC (Near Field Communication). Now mobile payments and sharing is an easy to do and time saving task for the users. The NFC enabled users can share the piece of information within the range of application being used.
USES OF NFC:
- Online Payments: Similar to credit cards the user can now make payments of bills online through NFC enabled device.
- Internet Connections: The NFC offers a very low speed of internet with an extremely simple setup that will enable users to transfer documents and use internet through Wi-Fi.
- Social Networking: The user can share images, videos, contacts etc. using NFC on social networking sites.
- Identity Documents: Like an e-wallet the NFC enabled devices can also act as an electronic identity documents and keycards.
Jelly Bean has done its debut with on Google Nexus 7 tablet and till mid-July the operating system will be availed on Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S and Motorola Xoom tablet. Updates of other devices will be announced later. ASUS Going To Launch Google Nexus Tablet Soon

Taiwan based company ASUS making motherboards, laptops, phones etc. for Dell, Apple and HP is going to make tablet for Google for the first time. The Google Nexus tablet made by ASUS is expected to be launched in late June at Google’s I/O event inSan Franciscostarting on 27 June 2012. The company is planning to manufacture 600,000 units of the device for first shipment.
Although the features and specification of the tablet are not yet unveiled but a little detail about the tablet is known. It has 7inch long display with resolution of 720 pixels and is based on Android Jelly Bean and the price of device might vary from $200 to $250, but this is not yet confirmed. The tablet has quad core NVIDIA processor and Picasa embedded camera with a resolution of 1280×960 pixels.
If you a real Android Smartphones lover then this tablet is going to give a beautiful experience, but on the contrary we cannot forget the rest of the tablets present in the market. Let’s see if it will be able to give competition to the current tablets and make a stand for itself.
Samsung Ready With Its Next Launch – Samsung Galaxy SIII Verizon

After HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE the next Verizon smart-phone coming up in market is Samsung Galaxy SIII Verizon. The smart-phone is expected to be launched in USA in July (the date not yet confirmed). It is an Android 4.0 based CDMA handset with 2G, 3G and 4G network, so again all internet users need not switch their internet plans.
The handset has 4.8 inch long display with AMOLED capacitive touch-screen, 16M colors and resolution 720×1280 pixels. With Dual core 1.5 GHz processor the smart-phone has multi-tasking ability. The price of the handset varies according to the internal memory of the handset i.e. 16GB is for $599 and 32GB is for $649. It also has microSD card support of upto 64 GB and 2GB RAM. The smart-phone has 8MP back camera and 1.9 MP secondary camera with autofocus, LED flash, resolution 3264×2448 pixels, HD image and video recording, geo-tagging, face and smile detection, touch focus and image stabilization.
Other than the above listed features it has SNS integration, image and video editor, Smart Stay eye tracking, Dropbox with 50 GB storage, MP3/MP4 player, document editor, Voice commands etc. With two new latest CDMA launch let’s see how the chase is going to be between the two smart-phone.
